Business Tax Preparation

Entity returns prepared by a CPA who understands your books, your industry, and where small businesses actually overpay.

Business returns are where a good CPA earns their fee. We prepare S-corporation, partnership, C-corporation and single-member LLC returns, reconciling to your books first, so the return reflects reality and stands up to scrutiny.

What this includes

S-corporation returns (1120-S)

Including reasonable compensation analysis, basis tracking and K-1 preparation for every shareholder.

Partnership & LLC returns (1065)

Capital account maintenance, special allocations and partner K-1s.

C-corporation returns (1120)

Federal and California filings, plus the franchise tax details owners often miss.

Schedule C & sole proprietors

For businesses that have not entitized yet, and advice on whether they should.

Entity selection & S-corp elections

Form 2553, late-election relief, and an honest look at whether an S-corp actually saves you money.

1099 & W-2 filings

Contractor and payroll information returns filed accurately and on time.

Common questions

Do you need my books cleaned up first?+

A reconciled set of books produces a better return and a smaller bill. If your books need work, our cleanup service handles it before filing season starts.

Should my LLC elect S-corp status?+

It depends on your net profit, your payroll costs and your state exposure. We model it both ways with your actual numbers before recommending anything.

When are business returns due?+

S-corps and partnerships are generally due March 15; C-corps and individuals April 15. We calendar every deadline for you and file extensions where they help.
